Our most recent project is the design of the interior of a privately owned house in Ghent, De Pinte.
The intention was to create a tranquil environment respecting the open architecture concept of the house. The interior became a mix of ash wood for the furniture and stairs with white and shades of light blue for walls and floor. This basic color scheme allowed a very diverse selection of the furniture shapes without losing an overall feeling of homogeneity. The kitchen has been realized in a rather strict and horizontally oriented design, bits and bobs of the owners are displayed in the open structure. On the upper floor the furniture is more vertical , following the lines of the architecture with well positioned openings that allow daylight to pass freely.
